Our office is very excited about this in-progress new mixed-use building that will be located downtown Berlin, Maryland.  The proposed building is approximately 10,000 square feet, with 6 multi-story apartments over commercial retail space.  The project incorporates a wide array of sustainable design features throughout the site and architecture.  The design is responsive to the context of the Historic District of the Town of Berlin, yet will be subtle in detailing with a distinctly contemporary facade and prescence.  Authentic materials are utilized but reimagined in the context of the present time and place.  The design will be innovative and progressive, providing new exciting business and housing opportunities to the Town.
